 • Written confirmation (address time and date given) and a non-refundable booking fee will be required to  secure the date and time of the booking. The booking fee price will be taken off the final quote given.

• Payment for the remainder of the fee can be made either by bank transfer, card payment or cash on arrival before work commences.  Cancellation Policy Cancellation Policy

 • If the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the event date, the client is liable to pay the fee in full.  • Booking fees or part payments are non-refundable.

• If the face painter/balloon twister is unable to attend, a replacement will be found; if this proves impossible,  then all payments received will be refunded in full.  General Terms & Conditions General Terms & Conditions

• The client/venue is to provide well lit, safe, spacious area in which our artists will work. This includes being  placed away from bouncy castles, music and generally lots of noise.

 • Please advise in advance if the event is outside in order to discuss shelter.

• A marquee or other professional type gazebo is essential to protect from sun, wind or rain.

• Artists will arrive 10/30 minutes before the start of a booking to ensure sufficient time to set up.

• The artist will only paint those who are happy to be painted and will need verbal consent from both a child  and adult.

• Food and drink shall not be consumed within the artists’ area to avoid any spillage or damage to the  equipment.

 • Guests are not allowed to touch any part of the entertainer’s equipment without permission (face paint, balloons, pumps etc) to avoid accidents. Alternatively sticky and dirty hands can contaminate (spread germs) and damage stock. If items are touched the artist will give gentle instructions to stop. However, if the guest  continues to touch anything they will be asked to step away from the area and the host will be informed and  the guest could be refused services.

 • Designs that the face painter/balloon twister considers to be offensive will  not be provided.

 • Please ensure that permission has been obtained from the venue for the artist to paint.

• If a bouncy castle is hired, ensure that the provider is aware that a face painter is in attendance.

 • The client should inform parents and carers that there will be a face painter/balloon twister/modeller  present at your event, and to advise the artist if anyone cannot be painted or receive a balloon.

We reserve the right to publicise our business via business cards, branded presentation and social media,  where appropriate, unless requested not to do so.  • Photographs of face painted clients may be taken by us, unless requested not to by  parents/clients/children. Photographs are intended for promotional use such as social media and website  portfolio. We will not feature the names of those pictured.  Safety

• All artists have full Public Liability Insurance of at least £2M.

 • Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times. For safety reasons, please don’t allow children to play in the area being painted in or to touch the equipment. Any damages will be charged to the  client.

• All artists use professional EC compliant water-based face paints, which are designed specifically for use on  the face and body.

• All paints, glitters and make-up are safe; however, in very rare instances may cause a reaction and  undertaking this application is at your own risk.

• Children under 16 will need permission to be painted from their parent, carer or party host.

 • Artists will not paint the faces of children under the age of 3. Between 2 and 3 we may paint something  small or on their hand, but this is at the discretion of the artist.  Hygiene Hygiene

• Any person with cold sores, conjunctivitis, open wounds or any apparent skin/eye infection or disease will  not be painted. The face painter’s decision is final.

• In the unlikely event of a skin reaction (itching/swelling/discomfort), face paint should be washed off  immediately with water and a soft cloth. Baby wipes are not used as this may aggravate the skin further.

• Sponges and brushes are washed thoroughly with soap between events.

• We use 1 sponge per child and brushes are cleaned between clients.

• Face paints should be removed with a face cloth and warm, soapy water. Some stronger colours may  ‘linger’ a little. Do not scrub, but leave until the morning and wash again, or apply baby oil with cotton wool.  Wet wipes should not be used.

• Any face paint on clothing should wash out with normal detergent. We cannot be held responsible for any  stains that will not come out.  COVID-19 Policy 19 Policy 19 Policy  • We are taking extra precautions at this time to reduce the risk of spreading the virus before, during and  after each event.

 • As professional face and body artists, hygiene has always been a crucial part of our practice. We have only  ever used 1 sponge per face, wash brushes after every use and thoroughly cleaned our kit between each  booking.  Additional precautions we’ll be taking are as follows:

● We will not paint children who appear to be ill or have coughs or runny noses.

● A mask can be worn upon request by each artist throughout the event to protect guests and ourselves.

● Wearing gloves is not possible when painting, so we will be disinfecting our hands, brushes and paints, as  well as changing the water regularly.  We thank you for your cooperation, understanding, support and patience with our new working practice.  Cleaning materials between each face will take more time and therefore we can paint fewer clients than  before. It’s essential we follow certain hygiene routines to protect not just you.  and your guests, but also our artists so we may continue to operate as a business in these new times.  We thank you for your business
